December Weekends

December is filled with the anticipation and celebration of Christmas. Isaiah understood Christmas better than most Christians today, and he lived 700 years before Christ was born. His prophesies regarding the birth of the Messiah can open our minds and hearts to the profound significance of Christmas. In Isaiah 9:1-7, the prophet describes three great blessings that are ours because of Christmas: joy, peace, and hope, which are on everyone's wish list!

Hobson Let's Go Challenge: World Relief
Give the gift of warmth! This month’s “Let’s GO” challenge supports refugee families that have recently arrived in our area. During the month of December bring coats, hats, gloves and scarves to one of our “Let’s GO” donation bins. Upon their arrival in our country, refugees often lack the warm clothes they will need to survive the winter. These gifts will be distributed through our local partner World Relief to the families they serve. Donations due by the end of the month.
