What to Expect 

Whether you’re looking at our Hobson Campus or our 95th Campus, we know that exploring a new church can be a little intimidating and overwhelming, so here are a few tips as you explore.

Weekends at The Compass

Most people start by attending one of our weekend services. No need to dress up - our services are designed to be casual, but meaningful. Our worship experience is contemporary, designed to focus our hearts toward God, and uses an eclectic mix of music, drama and media. 

The teaching is Biblical but also practical and relevant. If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. 

For those that consider The Compass home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to The Compass during the service, or you can set-up an online giving account HERE.

Before or after a service, we welcome you to come and say hello at our guest reception area where one of our pastors will be there to meet you and give you a complementary gift, just for visiting.

Parking for our guest is available on the church campus. As you drive in you will be greeted by some of our amazing volunteers who are there to help you get parked, and into the service. The parking lot can get busy, so please allow for time to get settled. 

If you have kids of any age, they can take part in our secure Children’s Ministry program on Sunday morning, or join our special groups just for junior or senior high.

Connecting Beyond the Weekend

What you do beyond the weekend service is based on where you’re at with your faith and your relationship to God. Here at The Compass you’ll hear us talk about four pathways to deeper engagement: Connect, Grow, Serve, and Reach. You can read more about each of those here.

We have Groups of different shapes and sizes that you can join for a more personal connection. We have different large group opportunities for women, men, couples, singles and young adults. We also have a wide variety of courses to choose from if you want a more intentional, long-term study, including some certification courses from Northern Seminary. If you want to give back and SERVE, you can check out how to find your passion, and get connected..
