Healthy Families Talk..."Families that Thrive: Nurturing Healthy Development in Children"
Parenting is full of questions, doubts, hopes, dreams and many sleepless nights. You may find yourself feeling confused, anxious, alone or overwhelmed as you juggle jobs, extra-curriculars, school, family and friends. You are not alone! Whether you find yourself at the beginning of your parenting journey or deep in the thick of it, join other parents to learn more about how to deepen your relationship with your child and point them toward true rest in the Lord. The foundation of this 5-week class is the belief that we were made for deep relationship with one another and with God. This class will invite parents to rest in God's provision for their family, while also empowering parents to nurture healthy development, respond to kids' emotions, make sense of confusing behaviors, promote self-regulation, bounce back after conflict, and build both connection and resiliency as a family led by Ally Berttucci, Cedar Tree Counseling.
Childcare ($5 per child/session) and dinner available (suggested $5 donation) 5:45-6:45p in the Atrium.
