We are thrilled to share what God has been doing through our Let’s Go initiative this quarter. Take a look at Jeff's update video!
When we began Let’s Go, we talked about 100% engagement. Do you know what that means? It’s not about everyone doing the same thing. It’s about each person discovering the unique way God is inviting us to participate in His work.
It’s about each of us praying, “God, how do You want to move in and through me during Let’s Go?” When we say “yes” to that personal invitation, something extraordinary happens. What is Jesus asking of you? Maybe He’s stirring you to serve, invite someone, take your own next step of obedience, be more intentional with your prayers or more sacrificial with your giving.
When each of us faithfully follows Jesus with our unique “yes,” the cumulative impact is unstoppable. Lives change. Communities transform. The Kingdom advances. Together, Let’s Go!
Welcome to the first quarterly update for Let’s Go! We want to take a moment to reflect on the amazing things that God has accomplished through our church's faithfulness. Every single gift in these two+ years from Dec 2025 - Dec 2027 is part of Let’s Go. We are truly in awe of what God is doing here at The Compass Church. It's remarkable to witness the impact of the generosity through the Let’s Go initiative just since December.
As we continue this journey, we look forward to providing quarterly updates to keep you informed and inspired about all God is doing through Let’s Go and to encourage you in your own personal journey along the way. This video marks the first of these updates, offering exciting news, stories and a progress report from the first quarter. We encourage you to take a few minutes to watch the video and hear what has been unfolding in our church, our communities and beyond. This is just the beginning! Together, we’re writing a legacy of generosity that will echo into eternity.
Let's Go!
While the Wheaton Evangelical Free Church began in 1952 in a home, the church building opened in 1954 on six acres of land on Roosevelt Rd. It has served us well for so long! Imagine how many people have been blessed by our church in that location for over 70 years. We need to refresh our building in this prime location to ensure the same will happen for the next 70 years!
Here is a sneak peak at various spaces at the Wheaton Campus. We intend to replace the original 1950’s building with new construction that will be open and expansive in its feel, while being efficient in its design and layout. The new building will be slightly smaller, set back farther and angled to the road so it can be viewed on an angle. This will convey a strong community connection via an atrium, classrooms, a gym, a café, a game room, a patio and more.
