AWANA is a non-denominational ministry that is all about fun with a purpose – for kids to learn and know Christ! Awana at the Wheaton Campus will run Saturday evenings September 7 through April 25 from 6-7:30p. Be a part of another exciting season of fun and faith! Our vibrant club helps children memorize Scripture in a loving, supportive and fun environment.
Awana helps ignite a child’s curiosity about God, Jesus Christ and the Bible. We offer Sparks and T&T clubs for kids in elementary school. Cubbies (preschool) and Childcare (0-2 years old) is open to all attendees of our Saturday night service and kids of our Awana leaders.
Kids will be encouraged to memorize God’s Word while having great fun! An exciting component of Awana are the energetic games in our gym. Leaders and kids develop relationships as mentoring takes place each week.
Cubbies – designed for preschoolers (3 and 4 years old) before attending Kindergarten. Classes focus on learning respect for the awesomeness and authority of God.
Sparks – Kindergarten through 2nd grade students. Children learn a biblical foundation of wisdom for knowing God.
T&T (Truth & Training) – engages 3rd - 5th grade students. The youth learn about living in God’s grace in relationship with others.
To meet everyone’s place in life we offer two tracks – the essentials track is for those getting started or desire flexibility. There's less pressure to memorize sections and your kids still have tons of fun playing games and learning from the Bible. For kids who love a challenge and enjoy earning awards please choose the Awards track for a fee of $40 (includes handbook, book bag and awards). In this track kids will dig deeper into Bible study and memorize scripture on their own time at home. Parents' help is a real plus for those choosing the Awards track!

Get Involved Want to help children grow in their walks with Jesus? Awana Clubs for The Compass Church, Wheaton Campus is looking for great volunteers to listen to children recite Bible verses, play games, help with administrative needs and more.
