This role requires an experienced leader and shepherd who can balance executive leadership responsibilities with relational ministry. The ideal Naperville Campus Pastor will be a humble, relational and strategic leader who thrives in staff development, discipleship and community outreach. Salary range: $100-120k annually.

The Pastor of Adult Ministries and Care will lead and oversee Adult Ministries and Congregational Care at our Wheaton Campus, investing and developing leaders of small groups, Men’s, Women’s, Young Adults and Adult Bible Fellowships. Congregational care and support involves managing support groups, prayer teams, visitation and care teams. Salary range: $65-80k annually.
The Pastor or Director of Student Ministries will provide vision and direction toward the faith development and spiritual maturity of our students. The right leader will work alongside a strong team of leaders to create environments designed to engage students in disciple-making relationships. He or she will be devoted to fruitful ministry to three primary groups: students, their parents, and lay leaders. While our goal is to fill this role with a full-time, permanent leader, we are open to considering individuals who are interested in serving on an interim or short-term part-time basis during the transition.
This role is responsible for being the key leader for all Children’s Ministry for our South Naperville Campus. This person is the key professional specialist in the area of ministries to children and families and has direct oversight of the philosophies, budgets, employees, lay teams and programming associated with them. Salary range: $55-80k annually.
Our Maintenance Team is hiring a part-time Maintenance Manager. This 15 to 20 hour per week role will mainly focus on facility repairs, maintenance, utilities, and renovations. Candidate must have experience managing and maintaining HVAC Systems. Candidate should also have experience in basic electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry/drywall/painting, and the ability to monitor fire, sprinkler, and security systems. Hours can vary but may include weekday evenings and weekend hours and after-hour emergency calls. Coverage can be needed at any of five Campuses of The Compass Church. Salary: $22/hr.
The Office Manager provides vital administrative and organizational support to the South Naperville Campus, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication across ministries. This role partners closely with the Campus Pastor to manage executive-level tasks, oversee Campus communications, coordinate office and financial processes, and support staff and volunteers in carrying out ministry initiatives. The Office Manager serves as a central point of contact for the Campus, helping create an environment where ministry can thrive and people feel welcomed, supported and connected. Salary range: $21-23/hr.
The IT Support Administrator provides technical support, training, and systems administration for church staff. Support includes both hardware and software with an emphasis on Microsoft products and our church management system (Rock RMS). Salary range: $22-24/hr.
The Compass Student Ministries Coordinator provides leadership, spiritual direction, and pastoral care for Middle School (6th–8th Grade) and High School (9th–12th Grade) students, supporting our mission: Helping People Find & Follow God. Reporting to the Naperville Campus Pastor of Student Ministries, this role includes teaching, volunteer coordination, event planning and relationship building with students and families to foster a Christ-centered student community.
This role will support the planning, leadership and growth of our Sunday 9:15 & 11:15a discipleship environments for Junior High students. They will support weekly large group “Youth Group” on Sunday evenings in various functions related to administration, teaching, volunteer equipping and assimilating new students. They will support various student special events, outreach events, camps and short-term mission trips. They will support the administrative needs of events where Student Ministries from various sites of the church collaborate with Naperville Campus Student Ministries.
We are currently without a Pastor of Student Ministries at this Campus. This role will report to the interim Pastor of Student Ministries at the site. The role is a staff peer to the other Student Ministries Coordinator at the Naperville Campus. When a new Student Ministries Pastor is selected, this person may adjust the division of oversight and responsibilities in the department according to their vision. Salary range: $20-23/hr.
The Student Ministries Coordinator will provide vision, leadership and care for volunteers, parents and students as they create meaningful environments, memorable experiences, fruitful events and helpful resources for the discipleship of Junior High (6th-8th Grade) and High School (9th-12th Grade) students. Salary range: $20-22/hr.
The CompassKids Coordinator assists the Associate Pastor through leading and coordinating the CompassKids Ministry at our Hinsdale Campus. Salary range: $20-22/hr.
The CompassKids PreK/Grades K-1 Coordinator at the Naperville Campus leads and equips volunteer teams for the PreK and Grades K-1 classrooms. This role casts vision, coordinates schedules, trains and coaches volunteers, and develops a healthy, excellence-driven volunteer culture. The Coordinator must embrace the CompassKids mission, vision, and values, and represent the church well to families and volunteers. Salary range: $22-23/hr.
The Facilities Worker supports the mission and ministry of the church by helping create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all services, events and gatherings. This role includes preparing rooms and event spaces, performing routine janitorial duties, responding to on-the-spot facility needs and partnering with staff and volunteers to ensure the Campus is ready for effective ministry. Salary $15-16/hour.
We are always looking for part-time childcare workers. This opportunity is perfect for anyone passionate about working with children and looking to supplement their income by adding a few hours as available. Current needs by Campus:

The Compass Church internship is a three-month, part-time, paid internship designed to provide practical ministry experience, mentoring, leadership training and group learning environments in a variety of areas. These Internships will be open to incoming High School Juniors and Seniors, Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students and Adults who want to explore ministry as a vocation. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about Jesus Christ, who desire to explore God’s purposes for their lives, who seek mentoring, spiritual development and leadership skills in a ministry environment. Pay is $16/hr. up to $4000-4500 for the summer.
