Thank you for joining us online this weekend! Below are video lessons and activity pages from Pastor Dan, our CompassKids Director at our Naperville Campus, that we are excited to share with all of our campuses. What a beautiful opportunity we all have to worship as a family!
Early Childhood (Ages 1-3)
This weekend, your Age 2-4 kids will be searching for a Pillow, Blowing Wind, and Water as they learn how Jesus calmed the storm.
Our Preschool-K kiddos will be playing a version of Red Light/Green Light with Mrs. Angi before they learn about how King Solomon built a temple for God.
Our Elementary kids will learn about an Electric Circuit as they learn about how King Solomon build the temple. We no longer need a temple or priests to connect us with God, because we have Jesus!
This weekend, your Age 2-4 kids will be searching for a Boat, Praying Hands, and Waves as they learn how Jesus walked on water!
Our Preschool-K kiddos will be taking a test with Mrs. Angi on making wise choices before learning some of the wisdom King Solomon wrote down for us in the Bible.
Our Elementary kids will learn how to make a Paper Popper (sorry if they annoy you with it) as they study some of the wisdom written in Scripture by King Solomon.
This weekend, your Age 2-4 kids will be searching for a Grasshopper, a Dove, and a Fishing Net as they learn how Jesus was baptized and then called his disciples.
Our Preschool-K kiddos will be helping Mrs. Angi decide where common items come from, before they learn where wisdom comes from.
Our Elementary kids will see what happens with Mr. Dan ignores wise advice from his friend as they learn about how King Solomon asked God for wisdom.
This weekend, your Age 2-4 kids will be searching for a Boat, a Fish, and Praying Hands as they learn how God saved Jonah in the belly of a great fish.
Our Preschool-K kiddos will pretend to be sheep and follow their shepherd, Mrs. Angi before learning about David’s famous poem in Psalm 23.
Our Elementary kids will learn how to make their own exploding volcano as they learn about Psalm 23 which says, “my cup overflows.”
This weekend, your Age 2-4 kids will be searching for a Crown, a Scroll, and a Scepter as they learn how God used Queen Esther to save His people.
Our Preschool-K kiddos will be helping Mrs. Angi look for lost sheep (aka cotton balls) as they begin their lesson on David’s terrible sin against God.
Our Elementary kids will see stained cotton balls turn white as snow as they learn about God’s mercy on King David.
We exist to join parents on the journey of raising kids To Love Him More, So More Love Him.
We believe that the church was never intended to raise up spiritual champions — parents were! Paul wrote about the responsibility of the church in Ephesians 4:12. He said... "Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ." - Ephesians 4:12 (NLT)
In addition to this, the church simply does not have the influence needed to make a lasting impact on children. Parents are the primary influencers of their children. The church has maybe 40 hours a year with children while their parents have over 3,000 hours. For this reason, our ministry purpose is to leverage our expertise in ministry through a strategic partnership with parents!
To become a transformational Children's Ministry that God uses to raise up a generation that takes the hope of the gospel here, near, and far.
Our prayer is that God shapes us into a ministry that focuses on life transformation. Paul wrote down in Romans 12:2 the goal for all Christians no matter their age..."Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." - Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Children are not too young to experience God. As they grow physically, they should also be growing spiritually. Our vision is to see God transform a generation of kids into spiritual champions. The exciting reality is we are invited to participate in that vision.
We are here to partner with you in your child’s faith journey!
At The Compass Church, we LOVE kids! We've designed a fun, engaging, and faith-forming environment just for them!
