Let's face it. Sometimes life is just plain hard. The Compass Church is here to help and support you through challenging times in your life. Our campus staff are available to provide prayer, emotional support, spiritual counseling and financial assistance. CompassCare provides additional support through specialty groups, workshops & seminars, outside referrals, counseling and other resources.
Groups & Classes
"Always our Children" Support Group
A support group for parents of a child living or considering an "alternative lifestyle." This group is an opportunity for parents to listen to each other’s stories, cry with each other, laugh with each other and pray for one another. The common bond is a desire to love their children and stay true to their Christian faith. No registration.
Anxiety & Depression Support Group
An open support group for individuals who live with anxiety and/or depression. Sessions will include practical "helps" and a time of prayer. No registration required.
Aug 18 - Jun 15 | 1st/3rd/5th Weeks Monthly
A Christ-centered recovery program designed to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups. The program provides a non-judgmental fellowship for support, where each member is accepted and affirmed. Enter through door 18. No registration required.

Hobson the HUB
A grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the pain of losing a loved one. This 12-week session will cover topics such as the challenges and journey of grief the "why" questions and dealing with guilt and anger.
Cost: $15. Online registration required.

PATH (Job Loss & Career Transition)
The PATH Group is a Christ-centered networking and support group for unemployed men and women and those in career transition. No registration required.

HOB Family Room
The Compass Church Benevolence Fund exists to assist members and regular attenders facing an emergency financial crisis. It also supports local organizations providing assistance in our community. The fund is managed by the Benevolence Committee who is appointed by and serves under the guidance of the Elder Board. Applications for Benevolence are available at CompassCentral or the main office at each campus.
Stephen Ministries - Hobson Campus
A Stephen Minister is trained to provide quality, one-to-one care to individuals experiencing a variety of life crisis issues. Meetings generally are one hour per week for up to a year.

The Restore After Abortion Program, part of CareNet Pregnancy Services of DuPage offer Free and Confidential post abortion care to women, men & teens. One can choose to meet 1:1 with a counselor or in a small group setting. Many of the counselors have experienced abortion themselves, and all go through extensive training on the effects of post abortion.
Counselors are also available to meet with family members, who may need to talk through the effects of an abortion that a loved one had.
