Moldova Jun 2025

Moldova
Update: This team supported the Kishinev Bible Church by conducting a Vacation Bible School, Youth Sports Camp, and visiting elderly people in the community. More than 60 children came to VBS where the team led lessons, crafts activities and games. The relationships built with the children and the church staff were rewarding; especially the children who accepted Jesus as their savior. At the Youth Sports Camp, we focused on developing relationships with high school age and young adults through volleyball, card and board games. We visited the elderly during the afternoons to provide much needed food staples and companionship. Each team member visited two to three elderly people each day, accompanied by a translator. People appreciated the food but valued conversation and relationship even more. They were amazed we came from America to visit them. It was exciting to see our team members grow in their self-confidence and their relationships with the KBC church staff, translators and each other. We have made deep friendships for life. A side benefit was the fun we had spreading the Word with other travelers and hotel staff.

Nicaragua Mar 2025

Nicaragua
Update: Our team of ten people served two different churches in Nicaragua. We began our day by visiting various homes in the community where we distributed food and prayed over their needs and requests. We then assisted with the feeding program where we were blessed to feed over 100 children in the community. After lunch, we led worship, shared a short bible story, and played games with over 100 children ages 2-12 for two hours. This was a time that the children valued and greatly appreciated. Lastly, we spent two hours with the women in each community for a time of worship, several of us shared our story, a passage of encouraging Scripture was read, and ended with a time of discussion in groups that opened a space for them to share their struggles, story, and ask for prayer. The women were so thankful to have this space to be cared for, listened to, and affirmed. Our team was deeply encouraged, strengthened, challenged, and inspired to be on mission after this trip. We were each stretched to grow in different ways, and we bonded beautifully as a team.

Albania Jan 2025

Albania
Update: The church in Albania is young, with many believers describing themselves as first-generation Christians. This team of seven worship leaders served at a conference for 120 Albanian worship leaders. The team facilitated breakout sessions, sharing practical ways to stay organized, plan worship services, lead teams of volunteers, translate worship songs, and shared insights from their own journeys with Jesus and His church. The team also led worship at two local churches in Tirana during their Sunday services. The relationships formed with local worship leaders are just the beginning of what hopefully will be an ongoing partnership with our friends in that part of the world.

Dominican Republic Jan 2025

Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic
Update: This team of 10 served El Arca, an orphanage that runs two schools and assists many families in Jarabacoa. Projects included building benches, a picnic table for students, and bunk beds which were then delivered and set up in homes where they had been sharing beds. The team painted wall murals and bible verses throughout the school and assisted staff in the school office and classrooms. One team member is a Chiropractor who spent the week providing adjustments and other care to the ministry staff who may have never had this type of care before. God was definitely with us as we served there. I am not sure who received the bigger blessing, the people we served, or our team. Either way it was a privilege to serve the Lord as we did!

Nicaragua Jan 2025

Nicaragua
Update: Our 7-member team partnered with ORPHANetwork in Nicaragua to lead 50 Nicaraguan youth on a mission trip, training and equipping them to impact their communities and churches. Together, we created a 45-minute program that was presented in different communities. Mornings were spent serving through activities like trash cleanup and tree planting, while afternoons featured the youth leading the program, sharing testimonies, presenting the Gospel, and performing dramas. Seeing the Nicaraguan youth connect, pray, and share God’s love was inspiring. Thank you to everyone who supported this impactful trip and helped raise the next generation of leaders!
