Serving Women & Children

There are several ways we can walk alongside vulnerable women and children in our community in life-giving ways.

Reclaim13

Reclaim13
Reclaim13’s mission is to end the cycle of sexual exploitation. Statistics show that most children who have been trafficked were sexually abused, neglected, or the victims of other maltreatment. These children are more vulnerable to further abuse and, potentially, exploitation. Age 13 is the average age of trafficked victims and "reclaiming" the lives of trafficked children is what Reclaim13 does. When we partner with Reclaim13, we can help end the cycle of human trafficking through education, healing, and community engagement so that children in our community can grow up feeling safe and loved.

Lifespring

Lifespring
Lifespring, a division of Wayside Cross Ministry, is a long-term transitional housing program for women and their children in crisis. Since the 1950's Lifespring has welcomed women, many with children, who have lost their way due to addiction, violence, financial hardships, or other life-altering circumstances. At Lifespring, women learn about the Gospel and God's healing power and work hard to begin a new chapter of their life. Lifespring is located in Aurora, Illinois.
