Servant Response Team
The Servant Response Team (SRT) is made up of individuals who desire to demonstrate the value of LOVE by showing kindness and compassion to those in need of urgent or one-time assistance. Whether it’s helping a local family move out of transitional housing into their first apartment or grocery shopping for a vulnerable individual, the SRT is ready to respond to a variety of needs. A current Volunteer Application and Background Check from The Compass Church are required for this serve, along with a Participant Agreement. If you'd like more information or would like to get involved, please email servantresponseteamnaperville@thecompass.net.

Rebuilding Together Aurora

Rebuilding Together Aurora
Join a team of volunteers to improve the health and well-being of under-resourced families in low-income households in Aurora. This two-day serve requires people from the community and professional trades to donate their time to help homeowners in need of critical home repairs. Together, we complete handicap accessibility modifications, plumbing/electrical work, energy efficiency upgrades, landscaping and painting to transform a neighborhood. A current Volunteer Application and Background Check from The Compass Church are required for this serve, along with a Participant Agreement. Check back here for the date of our next Rebuilding Together Aurora project.

Reclaim13

Reclaim13
Reclaim13’s mission is to end the cycle of sexual exploitation. Statistics show that most children who have been trafficked were sexually abused, neglected, or the victims of other maltreatment. These children are more vulnerable to further abuse and, potentially, exploitation. Age 13 is the average age of trafficked victims and "reclaiming" the lives of trafficked children is what Reclaim13 does. When we partner with Reclaim13, we can help end the cycle of human trafficking through education, healing, and community engagement so that children in our community can grow up feeling safe and loved.
