Serving Our Schools

Kids Hope

Kids Hope USA
COVID-19 Update: Per CDC guidelines, people from outside of school staff, children, and families, will not be permitted to enter the school building until further notice. Therefore, Kids Hope in-person mentoring is currently on standby.

The Naperville Campus partners with Kids Hope USA to recruit, interview, train, and send loving individuals into local schools to mentor at-risk students. Naperville Campus has Kids Hope programs at Puffer Elementary School in Downers Grove (D58) and Scott Elementary School in Naperville (D203). Mentors meet with a child one-on-one for one hour each week during the student’s lunch hour. Mentors build positive and encouraging relationships with a child by working on school-related projects, reading, or playing a game together. A current Volunteer Application and Background Check from The Compass Church are required for this serve, as well as an interview with our Kids Hope Ministry Leader.
