The Compass Church is part of an association of churches that make up the Evangelical Free Church of America. Nationally, the EFCA serves about 1,400 churches. CompassNational is helping to plant The Garden Church in Chicago, led by Church Planting Pastor Ron Childers.
Pastor Ron Childers has been prayerfully working to plant The Garden Church in Chicago. Soon, there will be opportunities for us to help. We might need to deep clean spaces that will be used by the church, do general landscaping, painting, light construction, and more. We are also looking for volunteers with expertise in specific areas: legal, marketing, social media, administration.

Each year, CompassNational welcomes a cohort of Interns who serve in multiple areas of The Compass Church across our Campuses. We are investing in future leaders of the Church in the United States, and around the world by offering them ministry experience, mentoring, and leadership skills.

CompassNational has an ongoing partnership with Sheridan Correctional Center in Sheridan, Illinois. Over 100 inmates meet every Saturday to worship and for video teaching from Jeff Griffin. Volunteers are needed to attend the three Saturday services under the guidance of the Prison Chaplain.
