Give

honor what He has given us

Your Giving Matters...

...it matters to us. And, it really matters to God. Your generosity is fueling changed lives through all of the ministries of our church. And most significantly, your generosity is resulting in "thanksgiving to God." (2 Corinthians 9:11)

Give Anytime, Anywhere

AppGiving through The Compass Church app is simple, secure and the most convenient way to give charitable cash through bank accounts, debit or credit cards.

Download The Compass Church app. Click the “Giving” tab and then scroll down to click on "Give Here." It's that simple.

“AppStore”    “GooglePlay”

NOTE: Online giving does not make a distinction regarding a debit card or a credit card. We strongly recommend that a credit card should only be used if it is paid off every month. We do not want anyone in our church family to go into debt by giving on a credit card. Proverbs 22:7 wisely warns that "…the borrower is servant to the lender."

Frequently Asked Questions

  • God owns everything. You are a steward of God’s resources. You are God’s money manager.
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. (Psalm 24:1)
The Parable of the Bags of Gold (Matthew 25:14-30)

  • Everything you have is a gift from God.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights. (James 1:17)
What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? (1 Corinthians 4:7)

  • God deserves your first and best.
Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best. (Proverbs 3:9)

  • You are to give thoughtfully and cheerfully.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Tithing is returning the first 10% of your income (asset resources) to God. Tithing is what God considers the baseline of generosity towards his house and mission. Tithing is expressing your trust in God as your provider. God has provided faithfully for our church. And, we know He will provide faithfully for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, tithing is the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. “Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)

God’s challenge and promise to us is found in this math equation 90>100. Ninety percent with God’s promise of blessing is “greater than” one hundred percent without it.

The Compass Church has two funds:

Ministry Fund
Our church and campuses all operate out of this one ministry fund budget. Our ministry fund supports: our ministry spaces (facilities, buildings, maintenance, etc.); our staff (salaries, etc.); and, our ministry strategies (CompassKids, CompassStudents, Worship Arts, Operations, CompassGlobal (missions), CompassNational and Community Impact, etc.).
NOTE: All undesignated gifts are posted to our Ministry Fund.

Expansion Fund
Our Expansion Fund is a strategic fund directed by our Elders toward opportunities to expand our shared mission of Helping People Find & Follow God in additional ways not funded by our Ministry Fund.
